Project: Humboldt State University Newman Center Restoration
Date: 2017
In 2017, Humboldt State University contacted Jimenez Studios to restore their stained glass windows in the Newman Center. After an onsite inspection we determined that the common room and chapel room windows needed a complete re-leading. After disassembling the windows. We matched and replaced all broken glass, and reassembled the windows using 1/2” zinc and 7/32” lead. We reinstalled the windows and covered the common room widows with protective Plexiglas covers. Our studio also manufactured new redwood frames for the chapel windows.
